a FREE evening event for Hawaii public school educators

Educator Evening Banner

HASCD and educators come together for events like this because we’re motivated and exhilarated by the limitless possibilities for learning in today’s world; because we truly care about preparing our students for life success; and because we strive to overcome the continual obstacles and external pressures that so often block our full potential. Eric Sheninger will share when we purposefully push beyond our comfort zones to challenge the status quo, we can create the conditions that manifest our vision for student learning and achievement. This means intentionally crafting an environment and overall culture where innovation, disruption, and productive risk-taking become the daily antidote to we’ve-always-done-it-this-way thinking and behavior. The challenges are quite real, but so are the opportunities and benefits. Let’s rock the boat, and reach the fullest potential both with our craft as educators, and with the high levels of learning that our kids deserve.
